3 hours east of Hanoi is Halong Bay. We took a 2-day boat ride around the 10,000 limestone "islands" that fill the bay. It is absolutely breathtaking and reminded us of the "cliffs of insanity" from Princess Bride with a little bit of Goonies thrown in! We're not surprised that Halong Bay is considered one of the natural wonders of the world.
