Sydney Opera House

There are a handful of buildings in the world that evoke an indescribable feeling of awe. The Sydney Opera House is one of them. It is totally inconceivable how one would originate its design, resulting in a picturesque view at any angle. Completely unique and timeless.

Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Yarra Valley...

After leaving Byron Bay, we flew to Melbourne where we stayed with Aunt Bonnie's friends, Sara and Eugene. It felt really nice to be staying in a home after 2 months on the road. Melbourne is an awesome city with diverse neighborhoods and cultures. We there during "the tennis" (Australian Open) and during their worst heat wave in over 100 years. It topped 114 degrees 4 days in a row.

Having not seen any kangaroos or koalas yet, we took a trip to the zoo with Rebecca, Alan, and Sam (Sara and Eugene's daughter, son-in-law, and grandson).

From Melbourne, we rented a Mini Convertible and drove the incredible Great Ocean Road. The 12 Apostles and the beautiful coastline blew our minds. As usual, the amazing pictures speak for themselves.

We pulled over so I could dance to Beyonce on the side of the road. I swear I did not know Ian was filming me...

After all of our wine tasting in New Zealand we wanted to try some of the Australian wines so we headed to the Yarra Valley, about an hour outside of Melbourne.

After an amazing week we went back to Sydney for 3 days before heading off for India!
