Temples of Ankgor

The grandeur of the temples in Cambodia exhibit a rich culture that give the Cambodian people so much pride. Built in the 12th century, the temples rest in an untouched jungle landscape covering many square miles. Touring these monuments transported us to the time of great empires that seems inconceivable in today's world. Again, pictures, nor words, can describe the energy this place holds. Our favorite temples were the more delapidated ones, overgrown with monstruous trees.

If anyone is thinking of visiting the Temples of Angkor, better make it fast! The government has already begun a large restoration project. This was very disappointing to us, because there is so much beauty in their ruin.

Watch how you go...
